Follower Giveaway and Pattern Tips

I want to thank all of you wonderful followers!! I reached 100+ and to celebrate and thank you for making this little venture in my life fun I want to have a simple giveaway of this apron.  Yes very simple just comment that you are following me and you are entered in the drawing.  I will announce the winner next Monday March 15.  You will have to check my blog on march 15th.  to see if you are the winner.  I am having trouble e-mailing through my blog so the winner will have to e-mail me their address so I can mail the prize.  I will give my e-mail address on the 15th in case anyone else is having the same problem. So lets get on with the craft/ giveaway.

 I found this beautiful  little bundle at Hobby Lobby the other day for $3 so I talked to my wonderful friend Debbie in the Fabric Dept and she said they were 2 aprons and didn't know if there was something wrong with them.  She showed me the bolt of fabric in the spring collection so I could see what it could possibly be.  I was sold.  I brought it home and found they were in perfect condition!

So for $3 I got 2 panels of fabric to make two super cute aprons. But that is not all, I decided I would make a pattern with the wonderful product from pellon called easy pattern.  I use it to copy my patterns so I can get use of all the sizes in a pattern and it is thicker so it doesn't tear as easily as that pattern paper in commercial patterns. You just lay it on top of the pattern and trace.  Since this was just one size I just pinned it on apron pieces and cut.

So I have 2 aprons - 1 for me and 1 for one of my followers and a pattern to make more with any fabric combination my heart desires!
